The drill squad had and still has a great impact on my life, it has taught me discipline and respect, great teamwork and how to be a team player.
It is not just a sport, but we are part of a family, and without us being a family it we wouldn’t be successful at being a drill squad. For the last 4 years the drill squad has made me the person I am today. I am confident, I believe in what we do, we create a flawless and magical experiences every time we take the stage, and this all goes out to our coach Frankino Booysen and our mentor Miss Fransman as well as our management.
The experience I had on the night of our performance, was quite overwhelming, with excitement. I haven’t performed in 2 years so I was quite nervous about performing, but to be on stage and perform again, the experience, was amazing.

The drill squad has a huge but also a great impact on my life it taught me discipline and respect . It basically gave me another family and allows me to express my self in many ways, it gives me hope for another day , it gives and builds up my confidence . At times it can be stressful but most importantly it is fun , to be part of the drill squad it takes hard work dedication and commitment and also courage. Based on my experience on Saturdays performance it was my very first time marching in front in the squad the performance was great and so was the experience I was nervous but also excited. Being part of the Spine Road High Drill Squad is absolutely the best.
